Inge Borkh

Ciao, Opera Mavens. First, some sad news. Soprano Inge Borkh died last week at age 97. She sang eight roles at the SF Opera 1953-1956. She was particularly known for Salome and Electra.

Live from Indiana University: The recent sensation at the Santa Fe Opera was The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs by Mason Bates and Mark Campbell. San Francisco is one of the co-producers and will present it in a future season.
