OSJ Military Veterans Chorus Concert – Enjoy this wide-ranging concert including classic choral pieces, spirituals, military songs & hymns, songs about America, songs about Christmas, and letters from soldiers in combat read aloud. A Taste of Russia – Holiday soirée including festive food, wine, champagne, and caviar plus music by Russia’s greatest composers (Rachmaninov, Rimsky-Korsakov, and Tchaikovsky) performed by mezzo Luba Yudasina, bass Kirk Eichelberger (OSJ 2001-03, 2005-06), cellist Samsun Van Loon, and pianist Ronny Michael Greenberg (Adler 2015-17). Christmas Oratorio (Bach) – With its festive arias, choruses, and recitatives, it’s almost like an opera! Last year we presented the first half of this masterwork so this year we’re “bringing home” the rest; add to that the remarkable Magnificat in D and you’re in for a properly inspiring opener for the holiday season.
