The Road to Romance – Enjoy a taste of Italian opera and delicious 4-course Italian meal set among the houseboats on the waterfront of the Sausalito seaport. SFO dramaturg Kip Cranna will interview composer Jake Heggie and librettist Gene Scheer; afterwards sopranos Toni Marie Palmertree (Adler 2016-17, Clara) & Marnie Breckenridge (Mary Bailey), tenor Alex Boyer (OSJ 2008-13, George Bailey / Uncle Billy), and baritone Hadleigh Adams (Adler 2013-14, Harry Bailey / Mr. Potter) will perform excerpts from the opera accompanied by Jake on the piano.
