Heidi Munzinger

Heidi Munzinger enjoyed opera as a child (first performance was The Magic Flute in San Diego High School’s Russ Auditorium) but did not blossom into a full-fledged Maven until the late 1990s after becoming a San Francisco Opera subscriber. An unabashed “Ring Head,” she has attended every Ring Cycle produced in the U.S. since SFO’s 1999 production (but has yet to make the pilgrimage to Bayreuth). Heidi is a docent for the San Francisco Opera Guild’s “Opera a la Carte” school program as well as a lightwalker (human chess piece during tech rehearsals) and supernumerary (non-speaking extra) for San Francisco Opera and Opera San Jose; she became OperaBobb’s humble assistant in 2011.
