Ciao, Opera Mavens. How we missed this important opera education event coming up this Sunday Mar 26, I just don’t know. (Whew! This is our first mistake this year. Now can rest assured we’ll be error-free the rest of the year.)

SAN FRANCISCO OPERA GUILD, EAST BAY CHAPTER presents the “OPERA SCOUTS,” a CONCERT WITH YOUNG SINGERS

at HOLY TRINITY SERBIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH, 1700 School St., Moraga

Come and experience a lovely musical offering of arias and art songs performed by the much-acclaimed young artists of San Francisco Opera Guild’s very own Opera Scouts. These teen performers, graduates of the Guild’s Summer Conservatory program, and aspiring professional singers, are at the heart of the Guild’s education mission. Please join us at the cordial Serbian Orthodox Church as they perform the works of Verdi, Schubert, Handel, and more!

After the Scouts’ presentation, we will enjoy a delicious potluck buffet supper provided by East Bay Chapter volunteers. Complimentary wine will be served.

Tickets are $45 per person, $30 tax deductible. Proceeds from this event will benefit the K through 12th grades education programs of San Francisco Opera Guild, as well as young singers in the Adler Fellowship and Merola Opera programs. Everyone is welcome!
